Aloha summer sex bombs!
The glorious London heatwave has been a brilliant opportunity to wear all my best vintagey sundresses. This Collectif sarong dress is one of my favourites for holidays and hot nights out. I love the bright pink flowers, the flattering wraparound skirt and the all-important cinch belt. It’s a total feelgood frock.
Sarong dresses were a huge trend in the forties and fifites, made popular by film stars like Dorothy Lamour.
And designers like Alfred Shaheen.
Characterised by their exotic prints, vibrant colours and gorgeous waterfall cuts, the dresses are summery, sexy and have bags of wow factor. Accessorise with wedges, bamboo jewellery and a big fuck-off tropical cocktail.
I. Want. Although I do worry that the lady on the right may be a little hot in her tights.
