When you meet The One you just know.
While I’m not entirely convinced about this as a theory of love, it definitely rings true for my experience with shops. I stumbled across Jools Couture during some routine Instagram stalking of strangers’ wardrobes and I just knew… I would be spending a lot of money on this online pinup emporium.
Jools Couture’s particular brand of vintage glamour embodies two different kinds of bombshell – super sassy and super girly.
If I had to pick one, I’d go sass everytime. Jools does a great line in hourglass cuts with added lace, velvet and décolletage.
But I do also have a sweet-tooth for all things pink and bow-adorned, like these delicious treats. Basically, I’m greedy and I want it all.
Helping you look glamorous 24 hours a day, Jools also has a fabulously frou frou range of nightwear.
Jools Couture has single-handedly awoken a burning desire for 1950s suits deep within me. Their New York Vintage leopard-trimmed ensemble reminds me of Marilyn in one my all time favourite films, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
Like two of my other great loves, Alannah Hill and Kylie Minogue, Jools Couture is Australian. They ship internationally but watch out for hefty customs charges, which will hold your new items to ransom before they are released into your loving arms/wardrobes.
God, I need to go back to Oz soon, if only for a shopping spree.
